Hock Double-Bevel Violin Knife Blades
- We offer three sizes of knife blades suggested by the late master violin maker Hans Weisshaar
- Useful for scribing, carving and whittling, these knives are bevelled on both sides and are unhandled
- The 3/4" wide knife is 3/32" thick, has a 25° tip and is bevelled at 25°
- The 1/2" knife is 1/16" thick, has a 25" tip and is bevelled at 20°
- The 1/4" knife is 1/16" thick, has a 10° tip and is bevelled at 35°
- All are 7" long
- High-carbon steel (O1), hardened to Rc62
