Description
- Blades are more than 1/2" thick at the heel of the bevel and are a consistent width from tip to shoulder
- Chisel sides slightly relieved to reduce sidewall friction
- 25° primary bevel to make deep cuts and 35° secondary bevel for edge durability
- Heel of bevel is rounded to provide smooth fulcrum to aid in levering out waste
- Blade-to-handle connection made with tang and socket-like ferrule
- Tang has flats to prevent handle from rotating; ferrule seats directly onto shoulder of blade
- Torrefied maple handle contoured to fit hand with shallow flats for blade alignment and finger placement
- Domed end has stainless-steel hoop to resist chipping
- Overall lengths range 11-5/8" to 12-1/4"
- Blade lenghts range from 5-5/8" to 6-1/4"
