These Veritas template groove cutters come in 0.025", 0.032" and 0.040" widths, sized for scoring different groove widths in inlay work.
Draw the V-notched hook blade along the edge of a groove to score a clean channel, following a template or working freehand for precise inlay lines.
The inlay groove and slicing tool cuts a new groove, while a groove cutter cleans up, deepens or terminates an existing one without widening it, so the two work best used together.
The blade is spring steel hardened to Rc48-51, giving it a durable edge that holds up to repeated scoring cuts.
