  • 20° Block Plane Bed: Built for general-purpose work, this standard block plane has a 20° bed and sits 1/8" taller than the low-angle version.
  • Stable Shooting: The tall side wings support shooting work, while side finger grips help improve control in use.
  • Combined Blade Adjustment: A single mechanism controls blade advance and lateral adjustment for sensitive, accurate setting.
  • Blade Guide Screws: Two guide screws help prevent the blade from shifting during use.
  • Ductile Cast Iron Body: The body is made from ductile cast iron and fitted with an adjustable nosepiece that does not extend past the body.
  • Choice of Tool Steel Blade: Each plane includes a chatter-free 25° blade in A2, O1 or PM-V11 tool steel.
  • Machined Plane Surfaces: The plane is machined to exacting standards, with milled sides and a surface-ground sole finished finely.
  • Optional Bevel Blades: Lapped 38° and 50° bevel blades are available separately for working difficult wood.
