Yes. The tall side wings are machined to an accurate 90° angle relative to the sole, and the wide wing surface provides a stable reference face for shooting board use.
The plane is available with a 25° blade in A2, O1, or PM-V11 tool steel.
A single combined mechanism controls both blade advance and lateral adjustment simultaneously. This design is the most sensitive and accurate adjustment available on a block plane. Two guide screws keep the blade from shifting during cuts.

Yes. The ductile cast iron body is designed to take hard knocks. The milled sides and sole are surface ground to a fine finish for accurate registration on the workpiece.
