Stress-relieved ductile cast-iron body is machined and surface ground on the 9-1/2" sole
Large sole ensures accurately flattened surface
Adjustable frog enables blade angles from 0° to 25° for fine control of cutting action
Integral thumbscrew bows blade
High-carbon steel blade is 0.055" thick
Optional 1/8" (0.125") thick A2 tool steel blade also available for those preferring uncambered blades
Optional 1/8" thick toothed A2 tool steel blade has V-shaped teeth at 25 teeth per inch
All blades are 2-7/8" wide, hardened to Rc48-51 and come with cutting edges ground at 45°
