Veritas Double-Edge Flush-Cutting Saw

The teeth are set so that they cut in only one direction – away from the adjacent surface, not into it. The side of the blade that rests against the workpiece has no tooth set that would abrade or score it during the cutting stroke.

The blade has 22 teeth per inch in a Japanese pattern. This cuts aggressively on the pull stroke while producing a smooth surface that requires minimal clean-up.

Both long edges of the blade are cutting edges. This lets you position the saw so that either edge is against the workpiece surface, giving more flexibility when working around obstacles or in tight spaces.

Yes. The thin blade presses flush to a surface and can conform to gentle curves, which is useful when trimming plugs on shaped or slightly non-flat surfaces. It is still rigid enough to maintain a straight cut on flat workpieces.

The blade is approximately 4 3/4" long; the overall saw length is about 11 1/2" including the handle.
