The channel is 3/8" deep and stainless-steel outer rail can be adjusted to fit running surfaces 2-1/32" to 2-1/4" wide
Low-friction UHMW strips in the bottom of the track let the plane glide smoothly
Fence is cast from zinc-aluminum alloy, with steel and brass fittings. Track is durable aluminum
11-1/2" x 24" base made of 3/4" thick Baltic birch plywood
