Veritas Shooting Board

The fence adjusts to shoot up to 60° from square, with fixed detents at 0°, 18°, 22.5°, 25.7°, 30°, 36°, 45° and 60°. For angles in between, a gyratory handle locks the fence in place.

The detents let you cut miters for frames with three, four, five, six, seven, eight or ten sides.

The 24" shooting track fits the cooresponding left- or right-hand Vertias shooting plane and shooting sanders.

Yes, the shooting board is available in right-hand and left-hand versions.

A slot in the fence face accepts an adjustable, user-made wooden expendable extension, which supports the stock from behind to help prevent grain blow-out.

The fence is cast from a zinc-aluminum alloy with steel and brass fittings, the track is aluminum and the base is 3/4" thick Baltic birch plywood.

A cleat on the bottom of the board registers on the edge of the bench to hold it in place.

The channel is 3/8" deep and adjusts to fit running surfaces 2 1/32" to 2 1/4" wide.
