The finished chair folds to just 12" deep, making it much easier to store indoors or transport than a fixed Adirondack chair.
Lift the seat back upward out of two pockets, then close the chair flat. No tools or hardware adjustments are needed to fold or unfold it.
The plan calls for custom stainless-steel bolts at the pivot points rather than fully threaded bolts, which would cause premature wear in the wood. A hardware pack of six bolts, locking nuts and flat washers is available separately.
