It clamps material up to 1" thick using the long arm or up to 2" using the short arm, so you can switch arms to match what you're holding down.
It fits any 1/4-20 t slot hold-down track and can clamp from any point along its length, not just fixed mounting positions.
The asymmetrical clamp head gives you a choice between 2 5/8" and 1 1/8" throat depth, depending on which side of the head you use.
Turning the knob on the screw levers the aluminum arm downward, which applies clamping force to the workpiece while also locking the steel T-bolt in place on the track.
