Veritas Magnetic Dust Chute

The four rare-earth magnets in the head hold with 40 pounds of force on a flat steel surface, which is enough to keep the chute securely positioned on a drill press table, lathe bed or router table top during use.

The chute has a 2 1/2" inlet that fits standard shop vacuums. A 2 1/2" to 1 1/4" reducer is included for adapting to central vacuum systems or smaller portable vacuums. An optional hose and 4" adapter are available separately for connection to larger dust collection systems.

The chute requires a steel surface to hold magnetically. On a wooden workbench, you would need to install steel screws or a steel plate at the mounting location to give the magnets a surface to grip.

The chute is equally usable on any power tool with a flat steel surface – drill press tables, lathe beds, router tables and similar machines. Because it mounts magnetically, it can be moved between machines without tools.

No. The chute includes the 3" square magnetic head and the 2 1/2" to 1 1/4" reducer. An 80" EVA hose with 2 1/2" to 4" adapter is available separately for connecting to 4" dust collection systems.
